TERMS & CONDITIONS
- 01
Each member is registered under a core business category, which is exclusive to them within the group.
Members may promote additional services outside their core category. These secondary services aren’t exclusive but must not conflict with another member’s core area.
If a category conflict arises, the current member and potential new member should try to resolve it directly. If they cannot, the Vice Chair will make a final decision.
Members who wish to change their core category must request this in writing to the Vice Chair. The Committee will review the request, and their decision is final.
- 02
All members are expected to:
Maintain a professional attitude in meetings and when doing business with fellow members.
If a member is unable to attend a meeting, arrange for a substitute and notify the Chair by email in advance. This email must also copy the substitute and include a copy of the member’s 60-second presentation.
Within two weeks of joining Trusted Referrals Group have submitted their profile to the website.
Submit referrals, one-to-ones, and thank you for the business via the Trusted Referrals Group website.
Keep their website listing up to date and consult with the Digital Co-ordinator if they are unsure how to achieve this.
Behave respectfully and professionally at all times.
Arrive for open networking BY 06:30, stay for the full meeting, and remain engaged throughout.
Invite visitors to attend meetings whenever possible.
Cover the breakfast cost for any guest they invite, except for the visitor's first two visits.
Members may be asked to give a 10-minute presentation about their business. If a member cannot attend their allocated slot, they may rearrange it with another member and must notify the Secretary.
Members will respect each other’s credibility and reputation by conducting business in a fair, honest, transparent, and timely manner. When a referral is passed, it is understood that the recommending member is aligning themselves with a fellow member’s products and services and, therefore, is putting their own reputation on the line by recommending a TRG member.
Mobile phones must be switched off or set to silent during meetings.
Membership is not transferable, except between individuals from the same company or organisation.
- 03
Visitors may attend up to two meetings before being asked to apply for membership or not return.
Visitors may attend more often as substitutes if invited.
Breakfast is not chargeable for a visitor’s first two visits. Should they attend again, for example while their membership application is still being processed, they will be required to pay for their breakfast.
- 04
Grievance and disciplinary matters will be handled by the Membership Standards Committee.
Any concerns should be submitted in writing to the Committee.
If a member needs to leave a meeting early due to work or other commitments, they should do so quietly and respectfully.
- 05
